Glengarry Glen Ross Play
This play is well written. Many views in the audience wheeze. Every other word was the f word with many very graphic sexual references, thrown into the dialogue.
The language and vulgar comments were entirely unnecessary. I feel it hard to see from beginning to end all that to hear the actual play.
This play is about revenge story. The forces come together against the little guy are as alarming as ever, but Mamet gives his team of salesmen working out of a dicey storefront real estate operation the same blood-coveting ferocity of a school of sharks. !
This musical wedges to the core of the American vision and interprets the nadir people will go to stay on top of the game.
The sales team alternate between disagreement and support, the highs and lows of their rocky loyalties, in addition to the highs and lows of deals lost and won, maintaining the momentum of the play.
